Change your drawing to an image file .jpg

This is the way I prepare drawings, portraits, sketches, paintings, sculpting and other crafts to put into the web page.

I will wait for a bright sunny day. Lighting is a good thing. I will lay the drawing ( or craft ) on my living room floor near the front window where the afternoon sun comes in. I make sure the sun don’t come in the window and shine direct on the drawing. The sun is the best and cheapest lighting. Then with a digital camera  I take 4 or 5 pictures of each drawing at different angles. Later I choose one for display.

Digital cameras of today make it so easy to get a good quality image that makes you look like a professional.

Pop out the memory card of the camera, stick it into the computer and download it to your desktop. I will create a ( named file ) on my desktop so I have a place to put the downloaded image. I say put on the desktop so it is not hard to find.

Now as the image is transferred to the PC I have turned my drawing into a ( .jpg ) image file that I can attach to email or in this case move it to my web page.

Now if you don’t have a digital camera you could scan the drawing and transfer it to your PC. ( http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Scan-a-document-or-photo-with-Windows-Fax-and-Scan  ) Don’t know how to do any of this ask a friend to help or ask a friend to take the pictures for you.  You could scan the drawing and send me the copy via snail mail. Find the address on the Contact page.

Hope something here has helped because I really would like to post your drawings to my web pages.
